The Department of Medical Research and Development aims to promote medical research to improve the quality of medicine and the health of people. Chang Gung Memorial Hospital (CGMH) has always attached great importance to the promotion of research. In order to effectively integrate and apply the research resources of the Institute, in May 2019, the Research building, which is also responsible for the mission of medical research and an important support for the development of Taiwans biomedical industry, was officially opened. The department has been organized into two groups, namely, the Division of Medical Research and Division of Laboratory Management, which are responsible for handling committee-related and administrative matters pertaining to medical research within CGMH.
