Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, one of Taiwan’s leading healthcare systems, is currently using its exclusive AI Inference Service (AIIS) to centrally manage all large language model (LLM) applications within its hospital system. Chang Gung uses Llama 3-Taiwan 70B, allowing patients to better understand nuanced medical language and improving frontline healthcare workers' efficiency.

Four New Microservices to Accelerate Deployment of Advanced AI Applications with Cultural and Language Proficiency
NVIDIA NIM Microservices support the latest development of large language models (LLM) based on the Llama-3 architecture, fine-tuned on large Traditional Chinese and English datasets. The Llama-3-Taiwan-70B model excels in understanding Mandarin, handling local legal tasks, answering questions, as well as language translation and summarization. Several Taiwan-based companies, including Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Pegatron, Chang Chun Group, Unimicron, TechOrange, Lulugroup, and APMIC, are using this foundational model to accelerate application deployment.
