Department Introduction

The division currently consists of five anesthesiologists and 30+ nurse-anesthetists. We prioritize in providing anesthetic care for obstetric, gynecological, and pediatric surgery.　 Other areas of our duties include anesthesia for pediatric urology, oral surgery, ophthalmic surgery and operative dental surgery.　We further specialize in anesthesia for laparoscopic gynecological procedures, as well as 24-hr painless labor for intra-partum pain relief.

The division comprises of anesthesiologists solely dedicated to pediatric anesthesia.　Senior residents from other Medical Centers, such as National Taiwan University Hospital, Taichung Veterans General Hospital, and Tzu Chi General Hospital, have visited our division to acquire more experience in pediatric anesthesia.
