Department Introduction

Cerebrovascular disease has been third leading cause of death since 2007 and is a major problem of public health in Taiwan. Due to a nationwide aging population, the risk of cerebrovascular disease has increased. In order to take care of stroke patients, Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital established the Stroke Center in April, 2006. The Stroke Center contains a stroke team which enrolls specialists from various professional fields related to cerebrovascular disease. In addition, there is a stroke ward that provides the best medical services for stroke patients.
