Department Introduction
In recent years, the treatment outcome of urogenital diseases has made a great progress because of the development of new medicine, the progress of surgical technique and the innovation of diagnostic facilities. Under the public expectation of the better professionalism, the urological subspecialties have been developed. For the sustainability and providing better medical services, experts and doctors who were devoted to Andrology and Female Urology established the specialized division in January, 2004 under the framework of urology department.
At present, the chief of our division is Dr. Yu Chen and comprises 7 attending physicians. The past chief was Dr. Ming-Li Hsieh.
Our division not only provides the diagnosis and treatment of the general urological diseases, such as urinary tract stone disease, voiding disorder and hematuria, but also focuses on the treatment and researches on male infertility, sexual dysfunction and disorders in male genital organs, including prostate, penis, scrotal and testis and various kinds of urological diseases in female as well.
