Department Introduction
Along with aging, the population is faced with several chronic respiratory diseases, new emerging infections, and malignant diseases. The complexity and severity of these disorders are more severe than ever. Our department, with the intention of promoting health care to the general population, established early lung cancer screening and advanced interventional bronchoscopy. We also founded a standard flow chart for chronic cough and asthma, and developed pulmonary rehabilitation exercises using advanced communication science and technology for home exercise programs. In Critical Care Medicine, the doctors of the intensive care unit were specialized in critical care medicine along with specially-trained nurse to improve the care of critically ill patients with the ability for early diagnosis and treatment. For many years, we have devoted our division to the research of lung infections and inflammation disorders. Clinically, we provide professional specialized health care, patient education, and the highest quality medical service.
