Research Interests
I am always intrigued by the application of innovative sequencing technologies and experimental designs to the investigation of human diseases. My current research has largely focused on dissecting oral cancer genomics and interrogating disease-oriented microbiome. Building on this diverse research framework, together with the expertise in molecular and cell biology, my recent efforts are directed at elucidating the areca nut-related oral cancer and the host-microbiota interaction in chronic kidney disease.
