The Neuroscience Research Center focuses primarily on clinical neurology and neuroscience research, aiming to advance translational medical applications and innovative clinical treatments. Through interdisciplinary collaboration within the team, we actively publish research findings in international journals and conferences, and secure multiple domestic and international research grants and patents. These efforts enhance the international visibility of our research outcomes. In 2023, the center published a total of 32 international journal papers, 21 international conference papers, and 5 domestic conference papers. Additionally, the center was honored with awards such as the "2023 Future Tech Award" from the National Science Council and the "20th National Innovation Award - Academic Research Award."

This year, the Neuroscience Research Center has made significant progress in research projects and outputs. External projects include 17 individual projects funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology, 2 integrated projects from the Ministry of Science and Technology, 1 individual project funded by the National Health Research Institutes, and 8 clinical trial projects, totaling 30 external research projects. Internal projects include 23 individual projects and 3 integrated projects within Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, totaling 26 internal research projects. Furthermore, the center has produced technological outputs with the certification of 1 international invention patent and 2 domestic invention patents.
本年度,神經科學研究中心在研究計畫及產出方面均取得顯著進展。外部計畫包括17件科技部個別型計畫、2件科技部整合型計畫、1件國衛院個別型計畫及8件臨床試驗計畫,共計30件院外型研究計畫。內部計畫則包括23件長庚院內個別型計畫及3件院內整合型計畫,共計26件院內型研究計畫。此外,中心技術產出包括1件國外發明專利及2件國內發明專利的獲證。

The Basic Neurology Group has achieved significant results in the study of brain tumor oncogenesis, neurological disorders, and neural plasticity. Research efforts include the development of brain tumor treatment methods, investigation into the differentiation mechanisms of neural stem cells and neural precursor cells, and advancements in tumor gene therapy technologies. Moreover, the group has conducted in-depth studies on molecular mechanisms underlying diseases such as Parkinson's disease, depression, and Alzheimer's disease. Breakthroughs have been made in technologies such as nanodrug carriers and awake craniotomy procedures.
基礎神經學組在腦瘤致癌機轉、神經系統疾病及神經可塑性功能研究方面取得顯著成果。研究包括腦瘤治療方法開發、神經幹細胞及神經前驅細胞分化機制探討、腫瘤基因治療技術發展等。同時,該組研究也深入探討了帕金森氏症、憂鬱症及阿茲海默症等疾病的分子機轉,並在奈米藥物載體及清醒開顱手術等技術上取得突破性進展。
