Our Goals:
Introduction:
Neuroscience Research Center was established at 2004, composed of Clinical Physiology Team (臨床生理學組), Translational Medicine Team (轉譯工程學組) and Basic Neuroscience Team (基礎神經學組).
Our research Integrated with clinical physiology, basic neuroscience and clinical applied research. The main goal is to establish biomarkers, realizes pathogenic mechanism and development treatments for neuro-oncology, neurodegenerative diseases and nervous system-related diseases.
Research:
Clinical Physiology Team (臨床生理學研究)
By combining neurophysiological research with human experiments, focusing on the non-invasive brain stimulation research. And develop new applications and treatment technologies with clinical orientation.
Translational Medicine Team (轉譯工程研究)
Using animal models to build up the medical devices, us a cooperation platform for clinical and basic translational research to use into clinical application.
Basic Neuroscience Team (基礎神經科學研究)
Develop animal models for various neurodegenerative diseases and induced pluripotent stem cell models, explore the mechanism of neurodegenerative diseases, and develop treatment methods and drugs.
Clinical Trial (臨床試驗研究)
Cooperate with international pharmaceutical companies in clinical trials for new drugs; and conduct clinical trials of high-end medical materials developed on focus-ultrasonic clinical trials to promote the practical application of translation research results.
Aim:
To enhance the quality of clinical and research fields of neuroscience, and promote the exchange of clinical and basic research, carried out integration of clinical and basic research, and can be applied to clinical diagnosis and treatments.

Future works:
Short- and medium-term goals:
Complete talent training; integrate the resource; Promote integrated research. And actively conduct two-way exchanges with domestic and foreign research units to improve the quality of research.
Long-term goals:
Establish a family pedigree of gene database for neurological diseases in Taiwan; Explore the pathogenic mechanism; Develop molecular and artificial intelligence medical diagnosis of neurological diseases; And develop innovative treatment technologies.
