Our team members, Dr. Rou-Shayn Chen and Dr. Ying-Zu Huang, analyzed the health insurance data of nearly 80,000 hepatitis C patients over 10 years and found that patients with hepatitis C who received early treatment were 40% less likely to develop Parkinson's disease than those who did not receive treatment!
The study was also published last year in the American Journal of Neurology (JAMA Neurology)!
