Organ transplantation, tissue regeneration, minimally invasive medicine, neuroregeneration, cardiovascular disease prevention and treatment, tropical medicine, pediatric genomics in disease, hormonal medicine, and longevity research.
3.Research Status and Vision:
With the rise of evidence-based medicine and the advent of the post-genomic era in biotechnology, the research department of the medical center undertakes the mission of pursuing evidence-based medicine, rapidly introducing biotechnological advancements, and elucidating the interactions between genes and the environment. Our goal is to provide a platform for high-quality healthcare services through technology. To achieve this vision, we have expanded our research funding from millions to 200 million annually and established research facilities covering over a thousand square meters of floor space. We execute over 150 research projects each year. Our future plans involve strengthening the core research laboratories and promoting the integration of interdisciplinary research centers. We aim to establish eight key interdisciplinary research groups. These research centers will serve as platforms for biotechnological advancements in healthcare quality, with support from the core laboratories in clinical genomics and proteomics.
