(1) About Center:
The Biostatistics Center in Kaohsiung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital was established on June 2016. In the past two years, it has provided researchers with necessary and effective services, so that clinicians and medical staff are not busy with clinical services, and professional statistical analysis researchers can provide consultations at appointment.
Big data is more popular in medical research. It includes structured and unstructured data. Furthermore, National Health Insurance rate is up to 99% in Taiwan. We also can make connecting with CGRD and NHIRD to receive more evidence information when CGRD have very important clinical database. We anticipate the Biostatistics Center will improve the average knowledge of statistics of our researchers. Increase efficacy and accuracy of statistical analysis of their studies, as well as increase the quality and number of publications in the Hospitals.
In the future, we do not only continue promoting the various tasks by the previous plan and assist the CGRD project to publish papers, but also evaluate the internal and external advantages of the environment and the interests of the researchers in the institute to promote various Medical statistical analysis techniques and courses are expected to greatly increase the accessibility of medical personnel to invest in database analysis and research.

Reservation
Center has provided researchers with necessary and effective consultant services, and professional statistical analyst can provide consultations. If researchers in need that you can make an appointment by phone on Monday to Friday, 9:00-17:00.
